The Mondragó Natural Park, named after Cala Mondragó, a large bay with several smaller coves, is located on the east coast of Mallorca between the coastal towns of Portopetro in the northeast and Cala Figuera in the south. To the west of the park border in the interior of the island, about 2.5 kilometers away, lies the small town of Santanyí, to whose municipal area the nature park belongs. The protected area includes the beaches of Caló des Borgit, ses Fonts de n'Alís, and s'Amarador, with the dunes, wetlands, and cliffs behind them, as well as the agricultural lands, forests, and low hills of the surrounding area.
This is a very nice anchorage to stay for the night. Please make sure not to drop the hook into the seaweed, the park ranger will come and check your anchor. Nearby you have some nice restaurants and beautiful beaches inside the bay. They can get crowded during high season.
